Sydney Design Festival talk

From Local to International Success

Ateliers Orsini presents a panel conversation exploring the keys to international success, with four French and Australian creatives sharing their experience and explaining how they made it onto the international scene. This free event is part of Sydney Design 2016.

Architect Thierry Lacoste, MUD Australia founder Shelley Simpson and designer Vincent Buret talk about their journeys, challenges, adaptations, failures and successes at establishing their brand locally and overseas. Gérald Bot from Polyglot brings his knowledge of business management and the global market to expand on the opportunities existing for creatives on the international level.

This talk is presented by Rita Orsini (Ateliers Orsini) in the context of the ‘Creative France’ campaign which was launched by the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls in October 2015 to showcase French innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. Under the ‘Creative France-Australia’ banner, both countries encourage the integration and visibility of creatives, young talents and entrepreneurs.
